Perhaps I’ll admit that calling them idiots is not the right thing to do (there’s that hypocrite thing again). I’ll stop saying mean things. I apologize for what I have said. But it still gives them no right to bash on her. It’s just a…
so not only do you defend racist people but you defend yourself after telling a group of people to kill themselves?
You take your spin on things if you want. I’m getting sleepy, so I’mma play some Pokémon and head to bed. G’night =w=
exactly. you can walk away. no consequences. we can’t walk away from the racism we face. you did defend your friend’s racist behavior. and you did tell people to kill themselves and went on to “lol” about it. there is no spin. just facts.
Lol, you’re doing that thing
That thing where people blow things out of proportion. Interesting really.
telling someone to kill themselves is serious.
defending racist behavior is serious.
i don’t know why you find it so funny.

Twitter responds to EBT shutdown with unhinged classism and racism; the privileged take to the #EBT hashtag and berate the poor for being, well, poor.
From demands that those on food stamps “sell their iPhones for food” to questions regarding “how many babies” women on EBT have “so they can get EBT benefits” — the hashtag is filled with grotesque jabs at poor minority groups (specifically Black people)

Random question. Would you classify yourself as a nazi?

Yes, I would classify myself as a National Socialist. I know people like you have nothing else to call it.
I know many people will think she is just a troll, roll your eyes, and forget about it. But there are many people who are neo-nazis. In the area I live in there are hundreds of them who even get the tattoos to prove it, who have attacked me while I walked to the store, etc etc. This account may or may not be fake but this is still an actual problem. Please don’t think it doesn’t exist.
I just want to ask how do white people not experience racism?? I mean where I live at least, I think theres a fair share of racism towards blacks + whites. One side of town it's known that you can be shot and killed for being black. Again, in another area of town it's well known that you can be shot and killed for being white. So what is the difference between the two? Both are wrong and tragic and it needs to change on both sides. So why do people say whites dont experience it? I'm just curious

racism = prejudice + power
White people are the oppressive power, because they have power they do not experience racism. White people can experience prejudice or discrimination, but not racism.
Racism is systematic, institutionalized, and individualized.
you say that me telling you that using racial slurs is never okay is pushing my beliefs on you yet you find it okay for you to use racial slurs that affect an entire group of people? that doesn't make much sense. what you do is harming people. what i am doing doesn't hurt you.

that affect an entire group of people?
Oh my God, it’s like you have no brain cells. It doesn’t affect an entire group of people. It affects one, and whoever else chooses to be offended. Not every black person says “omg :’( She said nigger. I’m so sad” not every Hispanic says “She said spic :( That means me, and not the individual she was referring too:(“
It doesn’t have to hurt every single person from that group to make it harmful. Racial and ethnic slurs are dehumanizing. When a group or race is viewed as subhuman violence and oppression towards that group is inevitable.

If I had a week, I couldn’t explain all the reasons this picture is racist, sexist and fucking gross overall.
Way to commodify, desecrate, whitewash and hypersexualize native women and native people all in one image.“Indian” is a brand of motorcycle which has been in production in the United States for a very long time. This is actually a portrait of a woman I know, whose husband was killed in a wreck, on his Indian brand motorcycle. Yes, they are a native couple. The bike and the woman, her tattoos and such, are all based on this couple. Her headdress is from photographs she had sent me, of her late husband’s attire at a tribal gathering. The hand and marks on the bike represent his crash, and the times he wrecked the bike before that and was injured.
I am sorry that the history of motorcycles in America is seen as such a horrific offense. (Also that you dislike pin-up art.) (and, also, that you find a piece commissioned and requested by a native person as “racist”)
But to each their own.
Nope, full fuckin’ stop right there. First off, if you were telling the truth(which I doubt you are) that “Native friend” of yours is a fucking idiot that advocates for the desecration of an object sacred to many tribes. Putting this headdress on a sexualised woman who did not earn it is desecration. Shame on you.
Admin Red thinks it’s gross, and rightfully so. And don’t you dare spew that dumb non-apology at us. Need help thinking of a way to apologize? Watch this;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8xJXKYL8pU
And no, this is not “to each their own” you fatuous shitstain, this is something that represents the sexualization of Native women, whose sexual assault rate is significantly higher than any other ethnic group in the U.S.
It doesn’t matter if it’s commissioned. It doesn’t really matter if it’s a memorial piece. This represents harmful stereotypes that lead to harmful things for real-life Native women, and when called out on it you shift the blame onto us and our apparent “lack of taste”. Go fuck yourself.
Also, my grandfather was a white-passing Tsalagi Satan Slave and even he thought the “Indian” brand motorcycle was gross and stereotypical.

If and when it seems an appropriate time to pass this message along, I will let her know that her commission request was found insulting and racist. I did not apologize; personally I think these are beautiful bikes, and that she is a beautiful woman, and that this is a beautiful piece of artwork which helped her in her grieving.
I do understand that people who have no interest or knowledge about motorcycle/biker culture might not enjoy this image. However it’s not directed to those who dislike these motorcycles, who dislike nude portraits, or who find G-rated nudity “sexualized”.
Nope. Full stop. Go fuck yourself because I can’t deal with your blatant disrespect and unwillingness to listen to actual Native women telling you that this is gross and disgusting. I don’t give a fuck about that other girl, she doesn’t matter and she is not the spokesperson for all Native people. I’m tellin you right fucking now that me, Admin Red, and every fucking Native women I know thinks this is gross. Go. Fuck. Yourself. -JupiterI do not think I will let her know that she does not matter. It strikes me as odd that you speak for all Native women- in fact, I know you do not.
Yes, native women are overly sexualized in media, yes, there is a gigantic issue with rape and assault of native women (especially by white men, I’d also note) but your ire is misdirected in this case. I do not find a nude portrait (in which there is no sexual posing, no frontal exposure, nor even anything suggesting it’s actually a female figure) to be overly sexualized. I do not find portraiture on this level gross in any way.
I wish we had been able to discuss this in a more level manner. I wish you well.
I DID NOT FUCKING SAY I SPEAK FOR ALL NATIVE WOMEN YOU TWAT. Don’t you dare fucking twist my words and don’t you DARE cite facts that I damn well know at me, and dont you dare act like youre superior for being ‘calm’ when you are not affected by shit like this exclusively. I also like how you avoid my statement that this is stereotypical. Just wow, you idiotic piece of shit.I have no reason to be angry- I’m simply an artist. I appreciate your reasons for anger, and don’t have a problem with it. Since you do not know my cultural heritage, I would however ask you to refrain from assuming that I am not affected by the facts we’ve both brought up.
I do not think that the person this is an image of, is typical, or that this image contains stereotypes- her husband in fact wore the costume pictured, she in fact has these tattoos… I apologize, I misread your statement “me, Admin Red, and every fucking Native women I know thinks this is gross.”
That’s what I hate the most about you fucking Nahullo artists, how you excuse racist bullshit like this due to it being ‘art’. I don’t care if YOU don’t think that it stereotypical, what matters is that I, as a Native woman, have to deal with these stereotypes for the entirety of my goddamn life. If you ‘appreciate’ my goddamn anger, why don’t you actually look into why I’m fucking angry, and how people like YOU cause it.
racist art is still racist.

You’re really dumb.. How is saying it racist while thinking, believing, and acting on it isn’t..? Are you really so stupid that you think only saying racist things is racist..? Shut up.. You’re a white person born and raised in one of the most racist continents on earth.. You know nothing..
