it is still prejudice and having a prejudice is a bad thing even if they are black or white

ok but here’s the difference. when people have a prejudice against Black people, Black people experience genocide, rape, violence, assimilation, relocation, and more. When people have a prejudice against white people, white people could lose their unfair position of power.

Bit confused here. I see a lot of people on tumblr indicate racism is power + prejudice, and that sexism is power + prejudice, therefore men cannot face sexism and white people cannot face racism. So what does that make Institutionalized racism, and institutionalized sexism?

Answer

Institutionalized racism and institutionalized sexism is part of the make up of “power” in the formula power+prejudice. Someone(s) in a position of power have a prejudice and continue to uphold themselves while dehumanizes those they have prejudices against by institutional and systematic operations of oppression.

Sorry but I do have to point out that if you deigned to read my initial response to you on my blog you might have discovered that I am not white and hail from an ethnic minority myself, living in a 'White' country, and who has experienced true racism, and that is why I object to those who play the 'racism card' unjustifiably and too frivolously. Oh btw I work for an Anti-Racism Charity too.

I stand by what I said.

You are promoting racism towards Native Americans.

You post offensive pictures that insults the tribes that use warbonnets.

You post images that promotes the dangerous fetishization of Native  women.

If you still believe cultural appropriation is not racism; then you do not understand racism.
