I read it, I saw that you used a racial slur (G*psy) in your article about how non-racist you are. Bravo.
Gypsy is not necessarily a racial slur though. If you google gypsy it will ask you if your referring to literature, ethnicity books ect Im glad your educating tumblr users about native american's thats wonderful and people need to know more about it. I just disagree with how you do it. You give your opinion in a way that makes people react in a defensive manner because they feel you're attacking them and their blog. If you want to get a message across be a little nicer and people will get it.
I have done it the nice way for years and I was met with the same responses varying from “I don’t care!” to “Go kill yourself”. I have been doing this for years so telling me to change up my process is irrelevant. I am logical and direct. There is nothing wrong with how I confront people.
And, more importantly, G*psy is a racial slur. Just because you don’t “mean it that way” doesn’t change the meaning or the damage caused by using it. You do not get to change the definition of a racial slur and I don’t care if google is trying to redefine it. It is a racial slur.
