My grandmothers grandmother was not allowed to discuss her full-blooded Cherokee heritage, not even to her descendants. I have no idea about a whole side of my family because if a stupid concept that a whole group of people needed to be “rehabilitated"

We learn about this in Canadian schools as a horrible thing that happened (I agree it was so horrible) so please don’t say that we don’t. To add to that so many Native American reservation are filled with crime and drugs where they fully live off well Fair. I feel horrible that their land was taken and for the massive genocide that they faced but you can not hide behind that forever. Native Americans have so much freedom now and they abuse the system!

Clearly this is not all of them but the few that do this have no right to complain about the horrible situations when they are living off our tax money and not trying to make good of their lives.
