ummm cultural appropriation directly contributes to poverty and genocide. It’s actually one of the most effective ways of dehumanizing people, which is one of the required steps in committing genocide against a group of people.
and there’s this little gem:

The first sort of harm is violation of a property right … The second sort of harm is an attack on theviability or identity of the cultures or their members.Appropriation that undermines a culture in these ways would certainly cause devastating and clearly wrongful harm to members of the culture … Other acts of appropriation potentially leave members of a culture exposed to discrimination, poverty and lack of opportunity.”

Not to mention that ethnocide (the destruction of a culture, which appropriation contributes) is a form of genocide. This is really all anthropology 101 stuff.
Giving a fuck about appropriation is by it’s inherent nature also giving a fuck about poverty and genocide.
