sometimes people don’t know or forget that I am white passing and my daughter is white passing. they want to believe I am not white so they can ignore what I say about racism and white privilege. they want to use the excuse of ‘well, you just hate us because we are white’ but guess what, i get all the same benefits that you do. And although I am native, i am white passing, I have white privileges; and ignoring people of color, and people you think are people of color, is an act of racism.
