If you’re born with white privilege due to your skin color, then how is it that this privilege disappears upon entering a non-white country? Can I complain about black privilege if I go to Africa and nobody accommodates me for being different? Do I still have white privilege when the Japanese don’t let me in their establishments? Privilege is a stigma losers give to winners to make themselves feel better: a social construct.

Considering white people have colonized several countries on the African continent, and has devastated Africa in it’s entirety, I am not sure that it makes an appropriate analogy. White privilege does not disappear when a white person enters non-Western European countries because white people, as a power structure, are the oppressive power over many countries. Feeling discriminated against or experiencing prejudice does not make you a victim of oppression. Oppression is much more than hurt feelings.
