i can totally see and understand how Harry wearing a Native American headdress could be seen as racist. i get it.
but for gods sake, someone of non-Native American decent can put a headdress on for a photo with NO RACIST CONNOTATION

i really do understand where you’re coming from! i’m not dictating who can feel offended by what or anything like that. i’m saying, in my humble opinion, i don’t think Harry put the headdress on with the intention of offending Native Americans. maybe he found it to be a really beautiful headdress, which most are. if i wear something with the Star of David on it and I’m not Jewish, that doesn’t mean i’m trying to dehumanize or discriminate against Jewish people. maybe i have a certain connection with the Jewish religion or perhaps i just like the shirt.
that’s all i’m saying.

intention is irrelevant when the outcome is the same. Whether you mean to promote racism or the dehumanization of Hebrew people or Jewish people the outcome would still be that you are. Whether or not Harry meant to be offensive is irrelevant because he is. And you are trying to speak over Native Americans by saying it is not a problem and you are trying to speak for Native Americans by saying non-Natives should be allowed to wear costume warbonnets. Just stop. reevaluate your priorities. Stop defending acts of racism.
