Ok you obviously missed the whole point. I know that those words are slurs, and I used them in the song to make a statement. It’s from the perspective of an ignorant white man of the early 20th century, and I of course don’t believe these things at all. Do you understand irony?

i understand “irony”, but what part of a white woman singing about colonialism and genocide and using racial slurs for native and mixed native people is “ironic” rather than “regurgitating the status quo [but in ur heart meaning it sarcastically]”?

im just saying, that as a native person i would personally be appalled if i saw this go down it would make me 100000% uncomfortable.

Word of advice: people might hear your “words of positivity” more clearly if you weren’t so passive aggressive and rude.

You’re wasting your time trying to tell me that I’m the bad guy here when I’m agreeing that native people are oppressed, and I actually care about the issue in the first place.
