i think a lot of white vegans forget that they have had many privileges for hundreds of years. If they were put into a survive-or-die situation with nothing to wear and eat they might just understand that being vegan is a privilege.

I cannot answer whether or not it is cheaper to produce animal products and bi-products or to produce plant based products; however, the production doesn’t always reflect in prices. It is cheaper to eat unhealthy foods and animal based products. Eating plant based products everyday is not affordable for everyone. There are many variables to consider; health, culture, availability, income, the list goes on.
