sorry this is just kinda a rant but I gotta say it to someone: What really pisses me off about Miley Cyrus is her "don't care" attitude. While on the surface it seems cool that she does her thing and doesn't care who it bothers, it's a problem and evidence of her spoiled white rich girl privilege and attitude. She does something that people find offensive like cultural appropriation with twerking? Or the tipi in her backyard for her birthday? Or her dream catcher tattoo? She says "fuck haters"
I hear you. There is a difference between denial and apathy, and positive self-esteem. She is faking positive self-esteem while denying making any mistakes. That happens quite often. She is just content with her oppressive behavior because it doesn’t affect anyone she cares about.
