do you ever look at the tumblrs of the white people who “heart” the posts made by neo-nazis? many of them do not post anything openly racist on their blogs but they like the comments anyway. I wonder if they smile smugly to themselves thinking they got away with their racist beliefs.
I was frequenting the site of this one anti-fem “former social justice blogger” who changed her url every few weeks seeing who liked her stuff. It was eye opening how many people thought she was a troll blog but she was legit serious. The crazy thing was she was writing a book and I stopped checking up on her before she released it (with the amount of followers she had tho I would not be surprised if she’d made quite a bit of money tho). The thing is there are people who agree with really awful ppl and justify their agreement with saying things like, “its just an opinion” and “they’re wrong about other things but overall p funny.”
That’s why this one time when the followers of the amazing atheist retaliated (who isn’t even a neo nazi but he’s huge on youtube) I was freaked out and it opened my eyes to exactly how passive ppl can be when they follow legit racists and even reblog their super mild posts. I’ll give you an example. This is anti-fem’s current about me section:
Their url is “facistc*nt” the asterisk is a U, do not visit if you’re triggered by anti-semitism! This person also authored a post last year that I refer to as “the kitten post” that was p popular on tumblr (if you don’t know what I’m referring then thank your lucky stars a lot of good ppl were reblogging that and it made me sick to my stomach). This is what their tumblr was last year:
Ppl who are against my type of sj blogging don’t understand that I’ve seen the worst of the “nonviolent” anti-fems and neo nazis and I see plenty of perfectly nice ppl who agree with anti-fems and neo nazis and I’m just doing what I can to study those who would do me harm. And yeah looking at their notes and finding “nice” blogs that follow them is p chilling.
