Your prejudice opinion can still be valid, especially in relation to indigenous people practicing a faith used to exploit and destroy them.

What white Christians did/do to Native Americans, in the name of their religion, doesn’t mean the religion is wrong or bad. Any religion can be misinterpreted or otherwise misused to abuse others. My prejudices against Christians exist because almost all the Christians I have met have set me up as their enemy. I’m Native, lesbian, queer, non-Christian, single mother, etc.

Manifest Destiny is a belief created by White people to justify their acts of genocide, rape, murder, assimilation, enslavement, etc; but I cannot say that it is Christianity that is the cause. White people will always find a way to justify their cruelty. They can hide behind what they think their God wants them to do but they know it is just an excuse.

edit: I should answer the question; I cringed when I hear Native people say they are Christian but I have to understand that so much information, ways, and beliefs, were stolen from us and I cannot think less of those who found something else to believe in. I also have to remember that just because white people have abused the term “Christian” I cannot hold it against all Christians.
