you should research tone policing. oppressed groups are not obligated to be nice to their oppressors; in fact, niceness has never (ever) stopped any acts of oppression.
Why does it have to be either/or? Be nice to the people that are nice, and be dicks to the people that are dicks to you. It’s that simple. To actively seek out and attack people in a majority for just being who they are is what I’m saying is wrong.
I think you should be more worried about the people of color who are targeted by white people just for being who they are.
