I really hate people who say they’re colour blind when it comes to race or “I see you not your race.” It angers me because my race and my culture are a very important part of who I am. I grew up Cree, I didn’t grow up ignoring my culture. I AM my culture. My culture IS me. Saying you’re colour blind to my race is insulting.
