Okay… On Tumblr I read a ton about race representation. This post is not about sides, wrong or right… just personal experience…

When I was younger, I really did not see race. I honestly, just saw other kids, other people. Many say that the over…

I do not use tags.
I never tagged it, someone else did.
FYI I AM NATIVE AMERICAN.

I was the first person to reblog your post and I found it in the Native American tag. So um.. your blog tagged it as Native American. As a Native American, do you find your race important? Do you recognize the history of oppression (and current oppression) your ancestors have been exposed to because white people saw us as subhuman and used our skin color as one of the indicators that made us “worthy” of being oppressed? When you draw a picture of yourself do you leave your skin blank? Are you ashamed of your skin? Colorblindness is an act of racism and upholds white supremacy.

Sorry but you sound like a pretendian who whips out great granma’s Cherokee princess myth to look like less of an ass

My ancestors are Lenape. And no, I would not lie about what I am. I am not here to lie or let alone impress anyone. And you do not even know me so fuck what you think.

Your ancestors are Lenape? Why didn’t you say “I am Lenape”? Why the past tense? Whether you are white or Native American you are upholding white supremacy.
