Social Justice warriors need to stop.
Now guys don’t get me wrong, I’m all for equality but the majority of the social justice movement is going about it wrong.
If you want to achieve equality then maybe it’d be a better idea to, instead of trying to get rid of white/cisgender/male/heterosexual privilege,…So you’re judging the quality of my character on one paragraph I wrote saying how we should all come together to achieve equality and deducing that I could never be a good person?
Or are you basing that purely on the fact that I’m a white cishet and are therefore “oppressive scum of the earth that deserves to kill themselves”?
First of all, I do not appreciate you using outrageous exaggerations while attempting to understand how I think and feel. I do not promote suicide and would never wish it on anyone.
Some of the reasons why I think you are a bad person is because: you have a undeserved sense of entitlement and you expressed it by attempting to silence people from oppressed groups while shaming those who do not blog to your standards thereby invalidating their opinions. You are egotistical because you believe your way is best, and everyone who is not like you is invalid. You implied that there is no such thing as white privilege and hetero privilege, “Stop attacking us purely because we have some sort of privilege in your eyes”. “In your eyes” implies that it is only their opinion and not actual fact. If you question there being white privilege and hetero privilege than you are ignorant on this subject and should not attempt to silence those who are trying to get some recognition and respect. You are an oppressive person. And if you are white/cis/hetero then your opinion is not needed; especially when it is harmful to those who are not. You show a severe lack of compassion by claiming that oppressed people should be equally concerned with their oppressors. I hope you actually read this; and actually reflect on how your words can hurt others.
