Disney makes a film that takes place on the African continent; all human characters in the film are white.

The film features no Indigenous Africans and it takes place on the African continent. If the film wanted to document colonization, in some way, why didn’t it feature any indigenous Africans? Why not depict the any of the relationship dynamics? Granted a children’s show would not depict genocides, rape, enslavement, etc, but if it were about colonization wouldn’t that take place in the setting, even mildly hinted at?
