Have some sort of "security" procedure - whether it's having a bodyguard nearby, or having your work appointment times/locations known to someone you trust (so if you don't check in by X time they know something might be up), make sure you plan that part out before you take any clients. If you trust several friends with what you're doing, maybe even do a "dry run" of how a good (and bad) appointment might go, so you can test your own plans? If you're happy, and you're safe, it's all good :)
