I have a very weird question, Snowy. I'm curious, is it possible to consider yourself an intersectional feminist (and womanist) and still enjoy pornography? I consider myself both, but am I being a contradicting hypocrite because I also enjoy pornography? Especially being a WoC, I understand how much women, especially WoC, are subject to disgusting fetishization in the industry. Is it possible for me to be a feminist who enjoys porn, as long as I'm critical of it?

I understand that many people, and especially women, are exploited/raped/abused/subjected to injury and illnesses/fetishized/+ in the porn industry. I respect a consenting adult’s choice to be involved in sex work; however, I realize there is a difference between getting involved in sex work out of necessity, desperation, choice, and being forced into it (sex trafficking). The demand of porn may increase the numbers of individuals kidnapped into sex trafficking.

I am very ignorant on this topic so I hope that someone can help us to understand this issue: does watching porn/buying porn promote the exploitation of individuals involved in sex work?
