I've been meaning to ask this question for a long time. I'm curious, as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, do you find it problematic that heterosexual people are labeled as "straight", because it could imply that anything other than being heterosexual is "crooked" and therefore not right? I'm a "straight" woman but I feel more comfortable calling myself heterosexual because of this thought. Do you think I'm over thinking this? :-/
I prefer the term “heterosexual” to “straight”; I don’t think you are over-thinking it. <3
