Sorry, I did not quite understand your comment… I may have interpreted it wrongly but I did not mean to insinuate I have no white privileges… I do! But I do not think having privileges makes me a bad person, the same way that not having privileges does not make you a bad person or an “inferior” race.
Having privileges doesn’t mean you are a bad person; it means that you are given unfair advantages and benefit from unfair privileges because of the systematic and institutionalized racism that upholds white supremacy. You are aren’t supposed to be ashamed of your race but you should recognize that you have unfair privileges and should want to dismantle a system that keeps white people as an oppressive power while keeping poc in an oppressed position. Your posts sounds like you are bragging about your unfair privileges. I hope that is no the case.
