i have felt ashamed about the color of my skin since about second grade when we started learning history.

this was a small thing that usually i could ignore until a few months ago when i started seeing “social justice” bloggers talking about how bad white people are.

i have no reason to have guilt, i never did anything, i wont say i never judged anyone, however i never did it about what color they were.

i was not there when america brought slaves over from africa

nor was i there for anything else.

i am sorry for what others have done in the past, but you must know that not every white person is evil. not every white person hates other races.

please do not hate me because of my skin color, i can not change my color nor my heritage, do not judge me for something i cannot change.

you are not supposed to feel bad about being white; you are supposed to recognize that because you are white you have unfair privileges and advantages, and are (whether you want to be or not) in an oppressive group. You are supposed to see the unfairness and do what you can do that dismantle the oppressive system.
