Their music leads us to believe they can’t utilize proper grammar. It is not bout race, it is about a lack or artistic ad musical talent. I may not be a fan of Lorde, but she is absolutely correct. Stop pulling out the race card where it doesn’t belong.
not using proper grammar in a song doesn’t mean they are incapable. they assumed they can’t because they are people of color. not every white artist uses proper grammar & no one says anything about it. and proper grammar does not dictate talent, lorde is definitely not even that talented & I’m being 100% honest. you need to reevaluate some things and stop speaking on what you don’t know.
How would you know if they assumed it based on skin color? Are you inside their heads to know their thoughts? And if you can’t make a line in a song without making up words, saying nigga and pussy fifty times, or changing the way a word sounds for the sake of rhyming then clearly you don’t have talent. Neither drake nor nicki minaj can even sing. Therefore if they can’t make good lyrics or sing well then they are not talented in what they are doing. And at no point in time did I say Lorde was talent, in fact, I said that I am not a fan of hers. Regardless of whether or not Lorde is talented, nicki and drake a trash. It’s not about race, it’s about shit entertainers. Relax.
Not to mention their music is indeed “irrelevant”. It does not provoke thought, it does not convey a story or teach a lesson. It is vain music filled with self worship and the belittling of people who are underprivileged and under sexed.
my way of speaking is the only valid and proper way of speaking and everyone who doesn’t speak my way is lesser/not important. that is a common thought amongst racists.
my favorite kinds of songs are the proper and important songs; anything else is irrelevant.
