This Christian person was trying to give me a bible today. I in return told them that I'm native and that Christians oppressed murdered and raped my people. Was that to harsh? Any advice. I felt bad after saying that to the person.

It’s true. The settlers who came here and committed genocide (and more) were Christians; and believed in Manifest Destiny (God favors us so our actions are justified). Your resentment is valid. I have a prejudice against Christians that I am working on because rationally I know that not all Christians do X or are X. I cannot tell you what to do but if you felt bad maybe there is a way you can decline without hurting feelings. <3
