Somebody asked about speaking up when a teacher says something incorrect about Native Americans, and I was wondering if it would be okay if a white or non-Native person who also spotted the error spoke up, or if that would be a rude/privileged thing to do since they'd be less likely to receive ramifications than an actual Native who knows first-hand?

Call them out! If you are willing to call out, or correct, misinformation than do it! (as long as you don’t speak over actual Natives)
