Do you think there's such a thing as minority privilege? I've seen a lot of Black/minority privilege blogs on tumblr lately, and frankly I think most of them are full of shit, run by people who don't know the difference between a privilege and something that is earned through achievement and overcoming struggle/oppression. However I see a whole lot of (White) people agreeing with these blogs, and I think they're quite harmful. DX
Those running “minority privilege” blogs are just attempting to silence people of color while down-playing actual privilege (white privilege) and play the victim. It is easier to play the victim then to realize the painful truth.
