Can you please elaborate on your statement that "all white people did/do benefit from slavery even if they didn't actively participate in it"? I'm just wondering how they benefit.

Well, for one, white people get to benefit from white privilege, and part of the reason why white people have white privilege is a result of slavery. This country (United States) was built over the murdered bodies of Native Americans and on the backs of African American people. African Americans were the labor force that made many white individuals wealthy but also had an effect on the economy, and paved the way for capitalism.
Research systematic racism, institutionalized racism, and white privilege.
