NEWSFLASH!!!! Not all white cultures owned slaves!! My ancestors were so poor they could barely feed their families much less purchase humans.
I’m just so tired of people saying “all whites benefited from slavery!!!” Well guess what? THEY DIDNT. MY FAMILY WERE POOR FARMERS AND POOR SHOPKEEPERS!!!!
White people did/do benefit from slavery whether they actively participated in it or not. White people today still benefit from both past and current oppressions of people of color. You can still receive benefits from something even if you don’t participate in the actions that gave you those benefits.
