I was being a little demanding; my apologies. Personally, I have little patience for people who tell others they are wrong without offering an explanation as to why their opinion is such. I agree with you, people certainly can appreciate a culture without being a part of it and being blessed into a culture by it's people requires living that culture and that lifestyle. But cultures aren't owned, just like people aren't. And the constant attacks on white people and their "privilege" may be revers

e racism, but it’s still racist even if it’s geared towards the socially dominant class. Racism is ENTIRELY subjective and half the time, even though I’m part Sioux and half Jewish, I’m the target of reverse racism because of my skin color. EVERYONE is victimized. I guess the point I’m trying to make is entirely irrelevant anyway, because we’re all fighting for our own causes in the end. My original reason for asking in the first place wasn’t to take about racism and cultural appropriation. It was to tell you that if you’re going to tell someone they’re wrong is it not also your responsibility to correct the behavior that you dislike? If someone is wrong, educate them to be better. Don’t be lazy and arrogant and have your explanations forced out of you. And find some compassion for the ignorance in others. We’re all fighting the battle of misunderstanding. Good luck on your journey, sister.“

I explain my opinion continuously on this site; it is quite easy to find a longer explanation. I like reducing my paragraphs into one sentence because a) those sentences are my thesis sentence (my main point), b) if a person wants to engage in further conversation then we can continue but it is a lot of effort to write out a long explanation only for it to be ignored, and c) I am not talented with reading comprehension; it is easier for me to read a sentence because I find paragraphs intimidating. Do you realize that this is a version of tone policing? I didn’t argue the way you wanted me to so you insult me and discredit me.

White people do not experience racism; they can however, experience discrimination and prejudice. There is no such thing as "reverse racism”. Racism = prejudice + power; and because White people are the oppressive group they cannot experience racism. Discussing racism, cultural appropriation, and white privilege is not attacking, and even if it were I am not obligated to be nice/polite/gentle with my oppressors. And claiming that “all people are oppressed” does not mean it is okay to oppress Native peoples. All people are oppressed = it’s okay to oppress each other? Umm, no, that doesn’t excuse these acts of racism even if it were true.
