Your short response is doing nothing to educate or further your point or explain it, at all. Explain, please. (In no way do I not respect your feelings or opinions, but if you're going to talk to about cultural appropriation and racism and segregation at least take the time to explain your stand point instead of responding in 2 sentences like anyone who doesn't already know is an idiot.)

Are you asking me to explain my thoughts or demanding that I do? Seems demanding.

“I think that the way to equality is by recognizing that we’re all human, not that just one race, culture, group of religious peoples is human.”

And I think one of the ways, perhaps the main way, to reaching equality is to appreciate all cultures. Appreciation is not wearing stereotyped costumes of another culture or race.

“Culture and regional customs are respectable, but they’re just as dividing as they beautiful.”

People do not have to participate in another culture to respect that culture. People can appreciate a culture without stealing and stereotyping pieces of that culture.

Complete cultural diffusion is not the way to equality; it is the way to homogeneity.

If you believe the way to equality is by diffusing into one then you aren’t actually advocating for equality, instead you are trying to justify barging in on closed cultures so you can take what you want.

“I want you to respect me and see me as human, but because your skin is a different color; you can’t be involved in my culture’s customs” is what I see..“

Not all cultures are divided by skin color. Expecting to be given access to a closed culture that is not your own is not equality or appreciation. That just demonstrates one’s desire to take from another culture without having to experience being a part of that culture, without having to live it.

"We can’t have equality when we aren’t being equal.”

And participating in cultural appropriation is not a way to obtain equality. Equality is not taking from cultures that are not your own. Many cultures that are appropriated are from marginalized groups that are subjected to oppression by an oppressive group, white people. Often times white people appropriate cultures that they are oppressive towards, which promotes white supremacy and continues in the oppression of people from marginalized groups.

“Education is louder than telling someone "you are wrong”.“

Cultural appropriation is an act of racism; research it, get educated. If you don’t like my tactics then research it on your own. In fact, everyone should research it on their own.
