Since when did outsiders embracing other people’s cultures turn into a bad thing?
I don’t get it? Obviously the world wants to stay divided and keep the hatred alive.
Does no one see the irony in this? It’s not about respect for someone…
So what is having cultural diversity? Just because I wasn’t born into a certain creed or race means I can’t embrace or take part in that culture?
I call bullshit.
Even if it’s my own interpretation, I obviously am showing interest in a culture that is not my own and I think the word for that would be progress.
There’s always going to be the originals that have their authentic way of doing things, and those are the things that will make it into the history books.
But me personally love seeing society displaying a mix of cultural perceptions.
you aren’t appreciating a culture by acting like: “i can take even if you say no!” Appreciation is not about taking, it is about acceptance. You only want to take what you want without having to earn it.
