we all want to strive for equality in races, cultures, ect.
but then, when another race practices a different culture, it is insulting.

There is a difference between cultural appreciation and cultural appropriation. Cultural appropriation is an act of racism and is harmful; It is taking from a culture that is not your own, misusing a cultural piece or practice, and/or participating in activities that you haven’t been given permission to do.
