Bummed you deleted the “I didn’t ask to born white” post that was followed by “I just want to help and I’m being judged by my skin color!” post before I could reblog and ridicule them. Rude.
Also, you might want to chill on the “you…
I DO understand. My ideas are different than the norm and it is why they are being rejected. I have taken college courses on racism and oppression, I work with charities and am constantly researching more on this subject. You assume I’m uneducated when really, my ideas are just different than other people and I’m being ridiculed for that.
I didn’t call you uneducated; I said you aren’t applying information about racism. And I really couldn’t care less what charities you do just so you can uphold those events like trophies of goodness; if you are going to do something good then do it because you care about the people you are helping, don’t do it so you can brag about it later.
your belief (which was in your original argument) is: stop generalizing white people.
1.) white people generalize and oppress people of color and have for centuries, but oppressed groups should not generalize their oppressors? what kind of “fairness” are you looking for?
2.) you made a post about racism but it was all about white people and white people’s feelings. Even though white people don’t experience racism. It shows who you actually care about and it isn’t people of color.
