You get judged for being seen as ‘an oppressor’.. We get judged by being seen as inhuman savages.. Yours hurts your feelings, ours gets us killed and enslaved for hundreds of years.. Seriously..? Shut up.. You don’t ‘ally’ by telling everyone how much your feelings are hurt because of reactionary anger that’s caused by deep, systemic oppression.. You get your fuckin people in check and you try to kill racism where it lives.. No one cares about your feelings when lives and livelihoods hang in the balance.. You’re white.. You can distance yourself from having anything to do with blackness or black liberation tomorrow and never ever have to look back.. None of us can do that.. That’s why these blogs exist.. You’re basically telling all of us that we are not allowed to voice our anger and pain about a system that wants us to die, that treats us like a problem when we built this shit.. POC built your country, all flavors of them.. In return we received hatred and a permanent place underneath white people and whiteness.. You don’t get to be hurt by our pain.. You need to do your part as an ally to make sure we don’t ever have to say these things about and to white people..
