[General statement; permission to post publicly] "Preferences" and "tastes" can have racist, sexist, colorist, fat-phobic, and other shitty backgrounds to them. The problem lies where someone is intent to keep these views, but doesn't want the titles they fall under even though that's what they're practicing. Be racist, sexist, a dirt-eating fetishist if that's what you are, and what you're about and endorsing. Makes it more convenient for others so they'll know where you stand.
