It's a children's book that depicts a mixed girl who is half ndn and half white and the racism she experiences and I liked it as a child because I'm also half and half and it was one of the first books I read that had a character like me and it was relatable in a lot of ways. I recently looked it up and the author is white so I was curious on people's thoughts on it.
I will definitely get that book. I prefer books, about Native Americans, written by Native Americans but that doesn’t mean every book that was written by a White person is completely invalid. This book sounds like it would speak to me so I will have to get it. Thanks for letting me know about it :D
