posting photos of people wearing costume warbonnets promotes racism and desecrates a sacred item that is still used traditionally by several Native tribes. Cultural appropriation is an act of racism, an action that dehumanizes a group of people and/or a race while stealing parts of their culture.
that is not racist it’s just wearing a head dress. if the person wearing it isn’t using it in a religious way or purposely disrespecting the culture I don’t see a problem.
You don’t see a problem with stereotyping an entire race while stealing and misusing the use of a sacred item which dehumanizes an entire race?
