Acorn Cookies Recipe
1/3 cup shortening
¾ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
4 teaspoons milk
2 cups sifted acorn powder
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
Thoroughly mix the shortening, sugar, and vanilla; then add an egg and the milk, and beat until light and fluffy. Sift together the dry ingredients and blend until creamy. Let it set in the fridge for a day.
Lightly pour some flour on the surface of the batter. Roll pieces to 1/8th inches. Bake at 375 degrees for ten minutes.
