I agree but then you have to tell Lil Wayne and Drake and Kanye to stop saying the word because it’s disrespectful.
So the “n word” was given to the slaves to degrade them and make them less than human. “Nigger” has a double meaning, which implies ignorance and stupidity. If African Americans are trying to gain equality and to be respected among white people (which I’m not blaming black people at all this is totally on white people I understand that) then the “n word” should just stop being used (by everyone). I’m just giving a suggestion.
Black people have the right to reclaim any racial slur made against them. Those who are not Black have no right to use that word.
