hating someone based on their skin color is prejudice, not racism. racism = prejudice + power. and White people hold the power and do not experience racism.
okay really if you’re gonna get hung up on a definition you’re missing the point. it doesn’t matter what you call it, it’s still wrong
I didn’t say prejudice was a good thing; however, if someone is going to discuss racism they might want to know the definition of it. (and not the White man’s definition of racism that was written over 100 years ago by someone who never experienced racism)
