I received many messages stating that the image of the racist football fan was so triggering and frightening that some people needed to unfollow me; to those of you who had to unfollow: I am so sorry that you saw that image. I completely understand your need to unfollow. This blog does show lots of racist imagery as I attempt to explain why they are so problematic. I am just sorry that so many people were hurt by that image. I, myself, got offline and had my crying moment, and held my daughter to raise my spirit. This blog can be and is very triggering; I just want you all to know that I do not argue about these images to hurt you but to educate those who would defend those images. Unfollow when you are triggered or upset, please. I wish you all the best and I love you all. Take care.
