It's probably because I can separate the lines between actual hate of a race and the dislike of a football team.
that image depicts a fake, murdered Native American. the image doesn’t show, for example, a jersey thrown on the ground, or held upside down, etc. It shows a decapitated, murdered, Native American prop. That changes it from a team to a people.
