Dont touch it when it’s not soaking wet. I put my leave in and my stylers on wet hair, squeeze excess water out in the shower, then if I need to dry quicker, I use a thick cheap tee shirt (think those free tees you randomly acquire) NEVER a towel

oh my, I have been doing it wrong forever. I was told to never brush it or comb it while wet or damp because of breakage. So I have always brushed it while it was dry. curious, why a shirt and not a towel?
