hey snowy, i just found an art blog that's run by this german girl who's openly making/selling "native" inspired artwork in Europe and calling it reflective of her year living in south america. As a mixed person with native ancestry (but no current tribal relations) in the country she's selling art of, it's making me feel reeeeally uncomfortable/angry about it. Some of her stuff is just plain old hippie trash that she's auctioning off. How would u go about this? :T

You have a right to feel the way you are feeling. Sounds like she is either exploiting indigenous artists or attempting to copy their work, either way I think she is out-of-line. The only thing I can think of is to tell her how you feel. Maybe ask her more about it. Did she buy these pieces of art? Or did she copy them? Why does she describe them as “Native American”? Good luck, I hope she will hear you out.
