Is it the same as a native american walking around calling themselves a cherry nigger, or a feather head, or a blanket then? and calling it enpowering? cause I have no doubt you'd call any native american out on that, telling them that they shouldn't because it makes it okay for other races to call them that.

I have made the mistake of telling a couple Native people that they shouldn’t reclaim the slur “red Indian” and I learned from that ignorant mistake. Reclaiming an insult can be empowering.
