Do you think that affirmative action is institutionalized racism? Since it gives people of every other race than white a better chance at getting into major universities?

Affirmative action was put in place in attempt to begin to level out the playing field; it is an attempt at beginning equality. There are programs to assist those who are disadvantaged, because they are disadvantaged, that is to say they do not have the privileges that others have. If you look at the statistics, more White people are given scholarships than people of color.
