Yes, I went with my mother (who is a white cisgender christian who I don't really get along with obviously) i don't really have any friends because I live in a tiny prejudiced town in mississippi. (It's literally almost segregated) So most of the people I talk to are university professers from my dual credit classes, who are actually really nice. my guilt is about having more privilege than the people I believe I belong with. Also I went to a library today and loaned some relevant books.
You are already making some great strides by associating with more like-minded people and doing some research. I am sorry if you are feeling lonely. As for the privilege thing I am not sure how to help. I see myself as a Native with White passing privilege. I have no connections to the white side of my family and it isn’t my world but it doesn’t change how and what I will face. You must learn to love and accept yourself. You are not alone. Reach out. <3
