Is Red/Yellow racist?
i think it really depends on the context like i’ve seen both terms used as a positive identifier, but they certainly can be racist too
So, is it out of line for someone who is not Asian/Native to use those terms as identifiers?
i think it can be, but it’s a bit more sketchy since red/yellow arent slurs on their own but they skirt the line
i think it depends on each individual. I agree that it can be racist. my people call us red but if anyone else called me that there would be a fight.
