You do know that to call yourself a womanist you have to be Black?

I haven’t heard that before; I know that womanism focuses on Black women, but I never read anywhere that you have to be Black to be a womanist. The reason I intend to study womanism is because it is vital to not only understand oppression but to learn what we cannot tolerate. But I can delete it from my sidebar if people feel I am over stepping.
